| Daltullich Cottage
is situated near Forres in the picturesque Moray region of
Northeast Scotland. Forres is a good shopping town, as is Nairn, both are about 15 minutes drive from the cottage. Inverness is about 40 minutes drive away. Aviemore
is about 35 minutes away and Carrbridge about 25-30 minutes away.
There is a golf course at Nairn and
others elsewhere. There is excellent fishing
on the River Findhorn (left).
Findhorn Bay is an area of
outstanding beauty and abundant with wildlife of all forms.
Surrounding Findhorn Bay are some of the best forests in the
north of Scotland, two of them offering excellent walks across
ancient sand dunes.
